Creating a SIP Register Filtering Rule Condition

Applies to: SBC 3.0, 3.1

The following procedure provides the steps to configure a SIP Register Filtering Rule Condition:

1- Click Create New SIP Register Filtering Rule Condition

2- Create the new SIP Register Filtering Rule Condition:

• Enter a Name for this SIP Register Filtering Rule Condition. Default condition name suggestion will appear in text box.

• Select the type of Operand to monitor in the SIP message.

  • Inbound rule allows selection of Request-Line or ** Header** operand.

  • Outbound rule allows selection of Status-Line or Header operand.

• Select Header Type identifier if Operand type is Header.

• Select the matching Operator between Operand and Value. The condition will be true when the Operand and Value are matching when applying the selected Operator.

• Enter Value to match or regular expression if Operator is matches_regex or does_not_match_regex.

• Click Create
