Create an MTP3 Network

An MTP3 network is created to define its point codes, link sets and routes.

To create an MTP3 network

1. Click "Create New MTP3 Network" in the MTP3 configuration information panel:

2. Configure the settings for the new network:

• Enter a name for the network

• Select a sub service field:

  • National

  • International

  • Nat. Reserved

  • Int. Reserved

• Select a link type:

  • ITU

  • ANSI

  • CHINA

  • ANSI 96

• Select the SS7 DPC length

• Click Create to store the settings

3. Verify that the "Mtp3Network was successfully created" message appears:
