Create SS7 Point Codes

To create SS7 origination and destination point codes:

1. Click "Point Codes" in the navigation panel:

2. Click "Create New Point Code" in the point code information panel:

3. Configure the new point code:

• Enter a name for the point code

• Select a type (select type-specific parameters)

  • OPC

  • DPC

  • Mask

• Select a DPC length:

  • 14 bits

  • 16 bits

  • 24 bits

• Enter a point code

• Click "Create" to finalize the configuration In this example, a Destination Point Code (DPC) was created.

4. Verify that the "MTP3PointCode was successfully created" message appears:
