# Advanced Configuration Parameters

Advanced configuration parameters enables you to tune the configuration to allow for more SS7 links or SIP interfaces. This is only useful in a TMG7800 configuration with more than 8 units.

To modify this, go to:

```
Configurations -> [Configuration Name] [Edit] -> Advanced Parameters
```

#### Signaling memory scheme

Three options are available, where Base is the default configuration:

```
Base:           8 MTP2, 8 M2PA, 4 M2UA, 8 ISUP,  8 SIP, 8 SCTP
MTP2 Modifier: 16 MTP2, 2 M2PA, 2 M2UA, 8 ISUP,  8 SIP, 8 SCTP
SIP Modifier:   8 MTP2, 8 M2PA, 4 M2UA, 8 ISUP, 16 SIP, 4 SCTP
```
