# RESTful API: Add MTP3 Routes

### Add MTP3 Routes with tbconfig commands

#### Display MTP3 Routes list

To show the MTP3 point codes list in general it will be: tbconfig -u root -p root /configurations/main\_config//mtp3\_stacks/mtp3\_config/mtp3\_networks/MTP3\_ANSI/mtp3\_routes mtp3\_routes <<<\<Note: Change the “main\_config” to your configuration name

#### Export the current point codes table to a json file

tbconfig /mtp3\_stacks/mtp3\_config/mtp3\_networks/MTP3\_ANSI/mtp3\_routes mtp3\_routes.json -r <<<\<Note: Change the “main\_config” to your configuration name

The file pc.json will look something like this: { "MTP3\_2\_2\_2" : { "advanced\_parameters" : { "broadcast" : false, "route\_to\_adjacent" : false, "sls\_selector\_bit1" : true, "sls\_selector\_bit2" : false, "sls\_selector\_bit3" : false, "sls\_selector\_bit4" : false, "support\_multi\_message\_prio" : false, "support\_route\_congestion\_test" : true }, "mtp3\_linksets" : \[ "MTP3\_LS\_ANSI" ], "name" : "MTP3\_2\_2\_2", "point\_code" : "DPC\_2\_2\_2", "point\_code\_type" : "SP", "sls\_range" : "ANSI 5 bits", "timers" : { "t6\_timer" : "800 milliseconds", "t8\_timer" : "800 milliseconds", "t10\_timer" : "30 seconds", "t11\_timer" : "30 seconds", "t18\_timer" : 11000, "t19\_timer" : "67 seconds", "t21\_timer" : "63 seconds", "t25\_timer" : "30 seconds", "tc\_timer" : "500 milliseconds" } }, "MTP3\_LOCAL" : { "advanced\_parameters" : { "broadcast" : false, "route\_to\_adjacent" : false, "sls\_selector\_bit1" : true, "sls\_selector\_bit2" : false, "sls\_selector\_bit3" : false, "sls\_selector\_bit4" : false, "support\_multi\_message\_prio" : false, "support\_route\_congestion\_test" : true }, "mtp3\_linksets" : \[ "MTP3\_LS\_ANSI" ], "name" : "MTP3\_LOCAL", "point\_code" : "OPC\_1\_1\_1", "point\_code\_type" : "SP", "sls\_range" : "ANSI 5 bits", "timers" : { "t6\_timer" : "800 milliseconds", "t8\_timer" : "800 milliseconds", "t10\_timer" : "30 seconds", "t11\_timer" : "30 seconds", "t18\_timer" : 11000, "t19\_timer" : "67 seconds", "t21\_timer" : "63 seconds", "t25\_timer" : "30 seconds", "tc\_timer" : "500 milliseconds" } }, "***meta***" : { "src\_path" : "", "version" : "3.2.55" } }

#### Add the new point codes and save it as mtp3\_routes\_new\.json

#### Import mtp3\_routes\_new\.json

tbconfig /configurations/main\_config//mtp3\_stacks/mtp3\_config/mtp3\_networks/MTP3\_ANSI/mtp3\_routes mtp3\_routes\_new\.json -U

<<<\<Note: Change the “main\_config” to your configuration name

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://prosbcdocs.telcobridges.com/telecom-references/developer-reference/restful-api/restful-api-add-mtp3-routes.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
