# Creating a SIP Register Filtering Rule Condition

The following procedure provides the steps to configure a SIP Register Filtering Rule Condition:

1- Click Create New SIP Register Filtering Rule Condition

2- Create the new SIP Register Filtering Rule Condition:

* Enter a Name for this SIP Register Filtering Rule Condition. Default condition name suggestion will appear in text box.
* Select the type of Operand to monitor in the SIP message.
  * Inbound rule allows selection of Request-Line or Header operand.
  * Outbound rule allows selection of Status-Line or Header operand.
* Select Header Type identifier if Operand type is Header.
* Select the matching Operator between Operand and Value. The condition will be true when the Operand and Value are matching when applying the selected Operator.
* Enter Value to match or regular expression if Operator is matches\_regex or does\_not\_match\_regex.
* Click Create

3- Verify that the Sip register filtering rule condition was successfully created. message appears
