# Creating a SIP Register Filtering Rule Action

The following procedure provides the steps to configure a SIP Register Filtering Rule Action:

1- Click Create New SIP Register Filtering Rule Action

2- Create the new SIP Register Filtering Rule Action:

* Enter a Name for this SIP Register Filtering Rule Action. Default action name suggestion will appear in text box.
* Select the Action type to execute when rule conditions match SIP message (i.e. Pass, Reject or Drop).
* Enter or select Response Code to return in Status-Line and Reason header of SIP response if Action type is Reject. This parameter will not appear if Action type selection is different from Reject.
* Enter Reason Phrase to return in Status-Line and Reason header of SIP response if Action type is Reject. This parameter will not appear if Action type selection is different from Reject.
* Click Create

3- Verify that the Sip register filtering rule action was successfully created. message appears
